About this guide

Editorial policy

We do not publish entry fees, opening hours, public transport line numbers, phone numbers, visitor counts, awards or reviews. Those change, and a wrong figure leaves someone standing at a closed gate. Where we do not have something verified, we say so rather than guess.

Every content page carries a visible “last reviewed” date. When we correct something, that date moves. If you find something wrong here, tell us and it gets fixed or removed.

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third party analytics. Fonts are served from our own server, so no font provider sees your visit.

Newsletter. We store your email address only when you tick the consent box and submit the form. What we keep is the address, the time, the page language and which page you signed up from. We do not store your IP address; for rate limiting we keep an irreversible hash of it and that is deleted after a day. The data sits on Cloudflare. Write to us to be removed. Addresses are never shared or sold.
